Using this site

By using neurekahealth.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

You must be 18 or over to use the brain test, sign in, or subscribe to the newsletter. The blog and other reading content has no age restriction.

What we offer

Neureka Health publishes:

• A cognitive snapshot test (the “brain test”)
• A blog of insights on neuroscience and brain health
• A newsletter
• Information about our quantitative neuroimaging analytics for researchers and clinicians

Reading content, the brain test, and the newsletter are free. The neuroimaging analytics are a paid engagement, started by writing to us; the specific terms of any paid work will be set out in a separate agreement.

Your account and handle

If you sign in to save scores or appear on the leaderboard, please:

• Pick a handle that is not abusive, doesn't impersonate another person or organisation, and doesn't infringe on someone else's rights
• Don't try to game the leaderboard. We may remove scores or accounts that show signs of automation or manipulation
• You can delete your account at any time. Email us if you would like a complete export of your data first

Acceptable use

When using this site, please don't:

• Try to break it — security probing, brute-force attempts, denial-of-service attacks, or anything similar
• Scrape it at scale or use its content to train models without permission
• Impersonate anyone, including us
• Submit anything illegal, defamatory, harmful, or that isn't yours to share
• Interfere with how the site works for other users

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts and content that break these rules.

The brain test, in particular

The brain test is a quick cognitive snapshot for fun and curiosity, not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or medical advice. Your score depends on rest, mood, practice, the device you're using, and many other things. Don't use it to make medical decisions.

If you have specific concerns about your cognition, talk to a qualified clinician.

Content and intellectual property

The text, design, code, and original imagery on neurekahealth.com belong to Neureka Health. You can:

• Read, link to, and quote our content with credit and a link back
• Save and share your own brain test result image — that one is yours

You can't:

• Republish or syndicate our content without written permission
• Use our brand or logo to suggest endorsement or affiliation
• Remove copyright notices or modify and redistribute the site as your own

When you submit a handle and scores to the leaderboard, you grant us permission to display them on the public leaderboard for as long as your account is active.

Service changes and availability

We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice. We don't guarantee uptime, and the brain test, leaderboard, and newsletter are provided as is.

Limits of our responsibility

We try to make the site accurate and reliable, but a few honest limits apply:

• Site content — including the blog and the brain test — is informational, not professional medical advice
• We aren't liable for indirect damages, lost data, lost profits, or anything outside our reasonable control
• For matters within our control, our maximum liability to any individual user is the total amount that user has paid us in the previous twelve months. For most readers of the site, that is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, for fraud, gross negligence, or death and personal injury caused by negligence).

Ending your use

You can stop using the site at any time. Sign out, delete your account, unsubscribe from the newsletter — all immediate.

We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue a feature.

Updates to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For signed-in users, we'll also email you. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Accra, unless your local consumer protection laws give you stronger rights — those still apply.
